I'm a wildlife conservationist and researcher, and In-charge of the Buxa Vulture Conservation Breeding Centre and Aviary at Rajabhatkhawa, West Bengal. For more than fifteen years, I've worked on the breeding, release, and monitoring of Critically Endangered Gyps vultures. I oversee the breeding of three Gyps species and the release of captive-bred White-rumped Vultures into the wild. Through fieldwork, satellite tracking, research, and outreach, my work comes down to one question: whether these birds can recover, and what it takes to bring them back.
